What's in a name

Parent magazine put out the list of top ten baby names for 2008, my name didn't make it this year, but I did come in at number 13. Which means there will be more girls out there with my name... Sarah is a pretty awesome name, here's the 411 on Sarah (my name, not exactly me):

Sarah
ORIGIN: Hebrew
MEANING: Princess

In the Old Testament, Sarah was the wife of Abraham and the mother of Isaac. God changed her name from Sarai to Sarah when she was 90 years old. An enduring name that has been generally listed among the top 100 names since prior to the turn of the 20th century. Famed jazz singer Sarah Vaughan kept the name in front of the public during a career that spanned six decades. Sarah-Jane has been a popular combination since the late 1960s.

VARIATIONS: Sal
ALTERNATIVES: Sarra Serah Saira Sara Sairah Sarrah Sera
NICKNAMES: Sari
FAMOUS Sarahs: Sarah McLachlan (singer/songwriter) Sarah Jessica Parker (actress) Sarah Ferguson (Duchess of York) Sarah Evans (country singer) Sarah Michelle Gellar (actress) Sarah Hughes (Olympic ice skater)

I always wonder what I would name my kids, right now all I have is Riley (for a girl or boy) and Ichiro or Ichihime for the middle names. I'm pretty much set on the Ichiro or Ichihime (I just had to incorporate my FAVORITEST baseball player).
