What will life bring in this upcoming year, it all seems so unclear right now.

Pancake goodness, so light and fluffy (or as me and my sister say in a Japanese accent furafii!). I've been blogging about food a lot lately, I'm not sure why. Well the bf comes in this week for two days, so more pigging out... hopefully some boots and kimos, gaku, and more!

This week's dinner...

Mabo tofu! Ingredients used: tofu, sukiyaki cut beef, mixed steamed veggies, and cook do mabo tofu sauce!
I try to make dinner to last me at least four nights, since I work so much! This meal came out to be about $4 a serving, beats paying $8-$10 a night on take out.

Where the magic happens...

I'm at liliha bakery. My favorite anytime of day diner, I love the eggs, portugese sausage, rice, cheeseburgers, buttah rolls with the pink jelly, cocoa puffs, and of course the pancakes! On wednesday I watched the pancake challenge on throwdown with bobby flay, and have been craving pancakes! I considered getting mcdonalds, but who am I kidding, no can compare to liliha bakery!

Dressing for work

I typically dress down for work. REALLY down, I'm a throw on a t-shirt and shorts/jeans with rubbah slippahs kind of girl, add a hoodie because I always get cold. I love fashion, and enjoy dressing up, but for some reason, I could care less about putting so much effort into my work outfit. Reasons being... 1) I work in a surf shop, t-shirt and shorts are the norm. 2) Yes, my other job is in a office, but I work at night (when NO ONE is around), I work in sports, and for some reason no one has enforced a more office like dress code. 3) At my surf shop job, I'm climbing on ladders, reaching for things up high, bending down to grab who knows what, cleaning the store top to bottom. I know, I know, excuses right... when it comes down to it I'm also just straight UP lazy, I wake up at 7:30 a.m., a hour before I have to be at work. Haha.

But, lately I've been trying to make an effort, wearing tights/leggings, tunics, and dresses. Still can't quite give up my rubber slippers. But I'm trying. I think this will be one of my New Years resolutions, make an effort to dress nicer. I have the clothes, I just need to actually wear it!

Puzzles

No not professor layton puzzles, but old school jigsaw puzzles. Me and the bf got this mini 150 piece dog one at shirokiya! Took us couple of hours, those pieces were damn small.

At starbucks and I was in front of this asian family AT the register, and they tried to order before me! The starbuks staff kindly told them to wait but they still tried to order, Wtf I was standing right in front of them! Thanks to royal hawaiian starbs for putting them in their place!
